The 3rd Laguna Blogging Summit

The 3rd Laguna Blogging Summit is set to happen on October 3, 2014. It started as an open event for the Pinoy Social Media/Blogging Community and is still is on its third year. It is a community for advocates, executives, young professionals, as well as traditional and new media. The focus has always been bridging the gap between brands and social media influencers towards the promotion of a responsible online community.

The 1st and 2nd Laguna Blogging Summits both served as avenues for learning for those who wanted to better understand what blogging is really about. This has been made possible by speakers who willingly shared their knowledge, expertise, and time in topics they have authority to speak about by virtue of experience. The 3rd Laguna Blogging Summit promises to be nothing less.

My Say

Why should we put extra effort to attend events like this ? It’s simply because these events offer the most practical way of learning. Of course reading about blogging provides valuable information but it is always different hearing from people who’ve “been there, done that” and yet are still willing to learn as they teach along the way.

I expect to be able to attend this event as I have been hoping for the past two years. Barring any unexpected change of plans, I will be there, eager to listen and learn. Here’s hoping the stars will align in my favor this time around.
